Obey your leaders and submit to their authority. 
(Hebrews 13:17)

There is no authority except that which God has established.
The authorities that exist have been established by God. (Romans 13:1)

Submit yourselves for the Lord’s sake to every authority instituted among men. (1 Peter 2:13)

He who rebels against the authority is rebelling against what God has instituted, and those who do so will bring judgment on themselves.(Romans 13:2)

But our citizenship is in heaven.  And we eagerly await a Savior from there, the Lord Jesus Christ.  (Philippians 3:20)

For rulers hold no terror for those who do right, but for those who do wrong.  Do you want to be free from fear of the one in authority?  Then do what is right and he will commend you. (Romans 13:3)

For he is God’s servant to do you good. But if you do wrong, be afraid, for he does not bear the sword for nothing. He is God’s servant, an agent of wrath to bring punishment on the wrongdoer.   (Romans 13:4)

Therefore, it is necessary to submit to authorities, not only because of possible punishment but also because of conscience. (Romans 13:5)

This is why you pay taxes, for the authorities are God’s servants, who give their full time to governing. (Romans 13:6)

Give everyone what you owe him:  If you owe taxes, pay taxes; if revenue, then revenue; if respect, then respect; if honor, then honor. (Romans 13:7)

Give to Caesar what is Caesar’s and to God what is God’s.  (Mark 12:17)15

But so that we may not offend them, go to the lake and throw out your line.  Take the first fish you catch; open its mouth and you will find a four-drachma coin. Take it and give it to them for my tax and yours.  (Matthew 17:27)

Remind the people to be subject to rulers and authorities, to be obedient, to be ready to do whatever is good, to slander no one, to be peaceable and considerate, and to show true humility toward all men.(Titus 3:1-2)17

Peter and the other apostles replied:  “We must obey God rather than men!”  (Acts 5:29)18
