Scriptures on Protection
The Lord is my rock, my fortress and my deliverer; my God is my rock, in whom I take refuge. He is my shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold.
Deliver me form my enemies, O God; protect me from those who rise up against me.
“Because of the oppression of the weak and the groaning of the needy, I will now arise,” says the Lord. “I will protect them form those who malign them.” (Psalm 12:5)
O Lord, you will keep us safe and protect us from such people forever.
You are a shield around me, O Lord; you bestow glory on me and lift up my head.
The Lord is my strength and my shield; my heart trusts in him, and I am helped.
He is a shield for all who take refuge in him.
Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand on your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand.
Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace.
In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.
