I
appeal to you, brothers, in the
name of our Lord Jesus Christ,
that all of you agree with one
another so that there may be no
divisions among you and that you
may be perfectly united in mind
and thought. (1
Corinthians 1:10)
Don't
have anything to do with foolish
and stupid arguments, because
you know they produce quarrels.
And the Lord's servant must not
quarrel; instead, he must be
kind to everyone, able to teach,
not resentful. (2
Timothy 2:23-24)
Do
everything without complaining
or arguing, so that you may
become blameless and pure,
children of God without fault in
a crooked and depraved
generation, in which you shine
like stars in the universe as
you hold out the word of life. (Philippians
2:14-16)
"Your
wickedness will punish you; your
backsliding will rebuke you.
Consider then and realize how
evil and bitter it is for you
when you forsake the LORD your
God and have no awe of me,"
declares the Lord, the LORD
Almighty. (Jeremiah
2:19)
Can
papyrus grow tall where there is
no marsh? Can reeds thrive
without water? While still
growing and uncut, they wither
more quickly than grass. Such is
the destiny of all who forget
God; so perishes the hope of the
godless. (Job
8:11-13)
Some
people are like seed along the
path, where the word is sown. As
soon as they hear it, Satan
comes and takes away the word
that was sown in them.
(Mark 4:15)
Still
others, like seed sown among
thorns, hear the word; but the
worries of this life, the
deceitfulness of wealth and the
desires for other things come in
and choke the word, making it
unfruitful. (Mark
4:18-19)
