The
LORD is close to the
brokenhearted and saves those
who are crushed in spirit.

Sovereign LORD will wipe away

heals the brokenhearted and

Surely
he took up our infirmities and
carried our sorrows. (Isaiah

soul is weary with sorrow;
strengthen me according to your

Death
is the destiny of every man; the
living should take this to
heart. (Ecclesiastes 7:2)
Brothers,
we do not want you to be
ignorant about those who fall
asleep, or to grieve like the
rest of men, who have no hope.
(I Thessalonians 4:13)
We
believe that Jesus died and rose
again and so we believe that God
will bring with Jesus those who
have fallen asleep in him. (1

For
this very reason, Christ died
and returned to life so that he
might be the Lord of both the
dead and the living. (Romans

the perishable has been clothed
with the imperishable, and the
mortal with immortality, then
the saying that is written will
come true: "Death has been
swallowed up in victory."

Why
are you downcast, 0 my soul? Why
so disturbed within me? Put your
hope in God, for I will yet
praise him, my Savior and my
God. (Psalm 43:5)
He
will have no fear of bad news;
his heart is steadfast, trusting

is a time for everything, and a
season for every activity under
heaven: a time to be born and a
time to die ... a time to weep
and a time to laugh ... a time
to mourn and a time to dance...
