If
we claim to be without sin, we
deceive ourselves and the truth
is not in us. (1 John 1:8)
If
we claim we have not sinned, we
make him out to be a liar and
his word has no place in our
lives. (1 John 1:10)
Even
from birth the wicked go astray;
from the womb they are wayward
and speak lies. (Psalm 58:3)
Man
is born to trouble as surely as
sparks fly upward. (Job 5:7)
Your
first father sinned; your
spokesmen rebelled against me.
(Isaiah 43:27)
Surely
I was sinful at birth, sinful
from the time my mother
conceived me. (Psalm 51:5)
Therefore,
just as sin entered the world
through one man, and death
through sin, and in this way
death came to all men, because
all sinned-- for before the law
was given, sin was in the world.
(Romans 5:12-13)
Here
is a trustworthy saying that
deserves full acceptance: Christ
Jesus came into the world to
save sinners of whom I am the
worst. (1 Timothy 1:15)
There
is not a righteous man on earth
who does what is right and never
sins. (Ecclesiastes 7:20)
All
have turned aside, they have
together become corrupt; there
is no one who does good, not
even one. (Psalm 14:3)
No
one is good - except God alone.
(Mark 10:18)
But
I will pass judgment on you
because you say, "I have
not sinned." (Jeremiah
2:35)
Who
can say, "I have kept my
heart pure; I am clean and
without sin"? (Proverbs
20:9)
If
any one of you is without sin,
let him be the first to throw a
stone at her.
(John 8:7)
For
whoever keeps the whole law yet
stumbles at just one point is
guilty of breaking all of it.
(James 2:10)
Anyone,
then, who knows the good he
ought to do and doesn't do it,
sins. (James 4:17)
But
sin is not taken into account
when there is no law. (Romans
5:13)
If
I had not come and spoken to
them, they would not be guilty
of sin. Now, however, they have
no excuse for their sin.
(John 15:22)
If
you were blind, you would not be
guilty of sin; but now that you
claim you can see, your guilt
remains.
(John 9:41)
I
know that nothing good lives in
me, that is, in my sinful
nature. (Romans 7:18)
For
all have sinned and fall short
of the glory of God, and are
justified freely by his grace
through the redemption that came
by Christ Jesus. (Romans
3:23-24)
So
I find this law at work: When I
want to do good, evil is right
there with me. (Romans 7:21)
Now
if I do what I do not want to
do, it is no longer I who do it,
but it is sin living in me that
does it. (Romans 7:20)
Keep
your servant also from willful
sins; may they not rule over me.
Then I will be blameless,
innocent of great transgression.
(Psalm 19:13)
Not
that I have already obtained all
this, or have already been made
perfect, but I press on to take
hold of that for which Christ
Jesus took hold of me.
